I didn't become a stress coach because I wanted to.
I became one because my body stopped working.

For years, I lived in a constant state of tension. I was productive on the outside, but internally, my nervous system was always on high alert. I tried motivation, discipline, and pushing harder.

It didn't work.

The Breaking Point

I grew up in Marlin, Texas, and graduated from Baylor with a degree in Finance. On paper, I was checking the boxes. But behind the scenes, I was struggling with anxiety, depression, obesity, and substance abuse.

At my heaviest, I weighed over 350 pounds. I drank to numb the noise. I lived in survival mode—constantly scanning for threats, unable to sleep, and disconnected from my own body.

My nervous system didn't feel safe. And when the body doesn't feel safe, it produces anxiety, exhaustion, and burnout—no matter how positive your mindset is.

The Burnout

Years of high-functioning anxiety eventually lead to physical shutdown.

The Noise

Racing thoughts and insomnia aren't failures of will; they are survival signals.

What changed my life wasn’t a single breakthrough. It was safety.

Through recovery, self-reflection, and learning how to truly listen to my body, I began rebuilding from the inside out. I lost over 100 pounds. I found long-term sobriety. But most importantly, I learned how to breathe and smile again.
